Job Summary
Optimum Delivery Service is seeking seasonal Delivery Drivers for Amazon packages. Flexible hours, $24.75/hr, no prior experience required, and positions could lead to permanent employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must own a Smart Phone and be proficient in its use
- Must wear an Amazon-branded uniform that is provided
- Must be able to safely deliver packages and navigate efficiently
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to maintain focus and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with members of the public, coworkers, managers, and Amazon employees
- Ability to effectively operate a global positioning system (GPS) navigation system
- Ability to use electronic devices for route navigation and planning
- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Ability to drive and deliver in all types of weather
- Ability to walk, lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, twist, and/or stretch during shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to successfully handle and timely deliver customer packages
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be able to work weekends and possible overtime
- Must not require a marijuana test
